Turn-key tabletop dynamic gas mixer with integrated 6 button TFT color interface, removable Bluetooth® tablet, powered docking station, and pre-loaded Fusion Flow MXM software.
Configurable chassis allows for 2 to 6 gas inputs with any combination of flow rates ranging from 100 SCCM to 100 SLPM full-scale, per channel.
Custom engineered for every application, the MXM family of gas mixers are the only hardware-based blenders of their kind to offer both flow and pressure delivery modes. Accurate and dynamic gas mixing is accomplished via specially tuned Alicat Scientific mass flow controllers commanded by our proprietary MixModule device. The included Microsoft Windows Surface Pro tablet with pre-loaded Fusion Flow MXM software gives the user full control over the gas mixing process, including preset recipes, automation steps, and robust data logging. Wireless connectivity allows remote access to the MXM-TAB base unit, making it ideal for active research laboratories or installations requiring physical separation from the gas mixing hardware.

Wireless BLE 5.0 connectivity allows operation of the MXM-TAB base unit from 200 feet away
The MXM-TAB is a turn-key tabletop dynamic gas mixer with a dedicated 6 button TFT color interface and Windows based high resolution tablet. An articulating, fully featured docking station creates a PC-like user experience, provides a host of modern connectivity options, and charges the tablet. Using the the included Bluetooth module, the tablet can be removed and used up to 200 feet away from the MXM base unit.
The ‘business end’ of the MXM-TAB showcases the 6 available source gas input ports and the single mixed gas outlet port. Either ¼” or ⅜” tube compression fittings are used depending on the chosen mass flow controllers. Additional connections include: RS232 male DB9 for bi-directional communication, 24VDC 4 pin DIN power port, 4 pin locking connector for additional or custom wiring features, 8 pin M12 port for powering outboard pressure or flow devices, Bluetooth® antenna, and the master power switch. The tablet docking station adds four USB 3.0 ports, one USB-C port, RJ45 Ethernet, DisplayPort++ and HDMI external monitor connections.
A small 14”x14” footprint allows the MXM-TAB to act as a bench top gas mixer, to be installed on a cart, or easily transported for use ‘on-site ‘ via its included Pelican™ transit case. Note the stainless steel chassis and handles, powder coated steel cover, and rubber feet allowing it to be placed on any surface or mounted in any orientation. With the included communications cables, the articulating docking station can be placed up to 6 feet away from the MXM base, to accommodate any use-case scenario.
Available base flow range scales for individual gas control channels (any combination of 2 to 6 channels)*:

Unit ships in a re-usable, hand-fitted foam Pelican transit case, allowing the MXM-PC to arrive safely from our factory, and also be easily transported in the future.
