In recent years, there has been a world-wide push to include Hydrogen gas within municipal natural gas distribution lines, primarily for the purpose of reducing CO2 emissions, but also to transport Hydrogen gas from one region to another. With research in this field growing rapidly, Fusion Flow Technologies instruments have been at the forefront of the so-called ‘Green Hydrogen’ initiative.

Since the Fusion Flow Technologies gas control system has many modes of operation, researchers could demand their mixture to be delivered with various pressure and flow considerations. Some examples are: a constant mass flow rate regardless of pressure, a constant mass flow with min/max pressure boundaries, a constant pressure with dynamic (automatic) flow rate. This makes the MXM an indispensable tool in the laboratory, especially when there are multiple testing regimes involved.
